Cairns Retreats

Teaching sessions will include:

1. The Granthis & how they influence out health. Granthis are knots or blocks in the bodymind where energy and consciousness interact. The program will develop an understanding of these knots and include specific practices to help release them.
2. A overview of the recent program presented by Sw Yogakanti on Life and Death ~ Full Circle, helping to create perspective for our personal practice.
3. Mantra, music and meditation understanding chanting, with focus on enhancing physical, mental and emotional well being.
4. Extended practice of Asana, Pranayama, Bhanda, Mudra, Mantra chanting, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. 

Tropical Retreat Cairns 30 July to Saturday 2nd August 2025.

• Venue: the Palmerston room at the Cairns Colonial Club Resort Hotel.
• Timetable of Sessions: from 7.30 am -12.30 pm; and 4.30-6.30 pm daily. 
• The afternoon break from 12.30-4.30 will allow plenty of time for participants to explore and simply relax & enjoy the warm tropical environment etc. Suitable for participants with some experience & their friends.
• Cost: $400; per person; with a 10% discount on the first 5 bookings received by 29 May. These fees do not include accommodation or meals.

There are rooms near this venue; Studio/ Family rooms (no 300’s) and Superior rooms (no 400’s), booked directly with the Resort www.cairnscolonialclub.com.au/ Ph 07 4053 8800. The Superior rooms are apparently the best for those who are sharing with a friend. Participants are free to organise their own accommodation.

Participants are free to organise their own accommodation & meals and simply come to the venue for the program.
Participants may benefit from shared car hire for easy access to the botanical gardens, Cairns for shopping & meals; & local beaches, events etc.
